(4) LEDs (Light Emitting Diode) and Switches
The LED of a chassis indicates the action status of a fan unit, BCU, PSU and high port-density
PSU-integrated NIF.
The LED is attached to the fan unit, and the status indicated by the LED differs depending on
the type of a device or the position where the fan unit is installed.
As for the status indicated by the each LED of a chassis, see Table 1.1-3. Refer to the section
"1.3 Power Supply." "1.4 Basic Control Module (BCU)" or "1.6 Network Interface (NIF)" for the
LED and switches of other component units.

NOTE 1: When a high port-density PSU-integrated NIF is installed, its action status is shown here.
NOTE 2: When a high port-density PSU-integrated NIF is installed, and even though the LED status is "Green(blinking)",
the NIF will not be active in the following cases:
During a time span of approximately 10 seconds after the LED status becomes "Green(ON)" after GS4000 is powered on.
The "close nif" command is entered from an operation terminal.
The "disable" configuration command is entered from an operation terminal.
NOTE 3: For a high port-density PSU-integrated NIF, the "OFF" status of LED means that exchanging the NIF is possible.
