Restricted instructions
The following table lists the instructions that are restricted in a program executed in both systems.
Classification

Calling a subroutine program and turning the
output off

program file
Calling a subroutine program in the specified
program file and turning the output off
Calling a subroutine program with output off

26.6 Program Execution in Both Systems
Notation
Description
CALL(P)
These instructions may not normally operate if a subroutine with any of a rising
instruction, falling instruction, or SCJ instruction in a program which is not set as a
FCALL(P)
both systems execution program is called in the standby system in the backup mode.
ECALL(P)
EFCALL(P)
XCALL
PSTOP(P)
No operation is performed if these instructions are executed on a program which is
not set as a both systems execution program in the standby system in the backup
POFF(P)
mode.
PSCAN(P)
SP.CONTSW
No operation is performed if this instruction is executed in the standby system.
S(P).PIDINIT
The PID control instruction information of the control system is transferred and
written over the PID control instruction information of the standby system. When
S(P).PIDCONT
these instructions are executed in the standby system in the backup mode, a stop
S(P).PIDSTOP
error may occur.
S(P).PIDRUN
S(P).PIDPRMW
PIDINIT(P)
PIDCONT(P)
PIDSTOP(P)
PIDRUN(P)
PIDPRMW(P)
SET [BL]
No operation is performed if this instruction is executed in the standby system in the
backup mode.
RST [BL]
PAUSE [BL]
RSTART [BL]
SET [S/BL\S]
RST [S/BL\S]
RFS(P)
No operation is performed if inputs (X) or outputs (Y) of a module on an extension
base unit are specified from the standby system.
COM(P)
Refresh of modules on an extension base unit is not performed if the instruction is
executed from the standby system.
S(P).ZCOM
FROM(P)
An error occurs if access to the buffer memory of a module mounted on an extension
base unit is attempted from the standby system. (The error can be set as non-
FROMD(P)
processing with SM1762 (Operation setting for access from the standby system to
DFROM(P)
the extension base unit).)
DFROMD(P)
TO(P)
TOD(P)
DTO(P)
DTOD(P)
TYPERD(P)
The module model name cannot be read if the module on an extension base unit is
specified from the standby system.
UNIINFRD(P)
The module information cannot be read if the module on an extension base unit is
specified from the standby system.
