Note If it is necessary to replace Hettich unit buckets, replace the
buckets in sets of 4.
7. Check the areas where the buckets are supported on the rotor for
cracks or other forms of wear.

CAUTION
Do not use any rotor, buckets, or cassettes that show any sign of cracks,
corrosion, or mechanical failure. Using damaged components in the
Hettich centrifuge unit can cause damage to the equipment, loss of
patient samples, and contaminate the Hettich centrifuge unit. Contact
your local support provider to replace any rotor, buckets, or cassettes that
show any sign of corrosion or mechanical failure.
CAUTION
Do not loosen or remove the rotors for cleaning. Loosening or removing
rotors can cause system damage. If it is necessary to loosen or remove
the rotors, contact your local service provider or distributor for assistance.
8. Inspect the rotor and rotor pins for cracks and corrosion.
9. Using soap or a mild cleaning agent and water, clean the rotor.
10. Using an absorbent cloth, dry the rotor.
11. Using isopropyl alcohol, clean any grease from the rotor pins.
