3-4 Grounding

WARNING
The servo amplifier switches the power transistor on-off to supply power to the servo motor. De-
pending on the wiring and ground cablerouting, the servo amplifier may be affected by the switch-
ing noise (due to di/dt and dv/dt) of the transistor. In order to prevent such trouble from occurring,
ensure to connect an earth referring to the drawing shown below.
To conform to the EMC Directive, refer to the EMC INSTALLATION GUIDELINES (IB(NA)67310).

Note: When using a power supply of 230VAC, single phase, connect it to L1 and L2 terminals, but do not connect
anything to L3 terminal.
1. Ground the servo amplifier and servo motor securely.
2. To prevent an electric shock, always connect the protective earth (PE)
terminal (marked
