Install the OS. You don't need to install the OS if the created virtual drive is not for booting the OS. After
the OS is installed, install Universal RAID Utility. For more information about how to install, refer to the
User's Guide that comes with this server.

For RAID1/RAID10, boot up the OS and run Check Consistency. For more information about how to run
Check Consistency, see Universal RAID Utility User's Guide.
13.
Press the <Esc> key to return to the TOP menu and exit the utilities.

Check Consistency on the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility takes long

time. Run Check Consistency from the Universal RAID Utility on the OS.
•
Inconsistency may be detected at the first time of the consistency check, but
there is no problem.
Note
For RAID0, running Check Consistency is not required.
