Configure HotSpare
1. Connect a physical device for hot sparing, and then turn on the server.
2. Run LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility.
3. From the TOP menu, select Objects, and then Physical Drive.
The Objects - PHYSICAL DRIVE SELECTION MENU screen appears.
4. Move the cursor onto the physical device to be hot spared, and then press the <Enter> key.
5. Select Make HotSpare.
6. When you select Yes, the display for the physical device changes to "HOTSP".
