9.4 Installing Fire Extinguishing Devices

9.4.1 Installing CE-Certified Fire Extinguishing Devices

9.4.1.1 (Optional) Installing the Fire Extinguisher Cylinder

Prerequisites

● As the fire extinguisher cylinder is heavy, determine the installation position,
port, and fastening mode in advance to avoid long-distance movement.
● Do not impact or strike the fire extinguisher cylinder during transportation or
installation. Do not remove or flip the dowel on the fire extinguisher cylinder.
● Assign at least four persons for transportation and installation if no auxiliary
tool is available.
● Do not touch any button in the fire extinguishing system without permission
during installation.
● Do not power on the fire extinguishing system during installation.
Preparations
Tools: protective gloves, pallet truck, pipe wrench, adjustable wrench, step ladder
Materials: fire extinguisher cylinder, high-pressure hose, sealing tape, threaded
adapter, I-shaped connector
Skill requirement: common technician
Issue 07 (2022-12-15)
The pre-fab. modules have been installed.
The extinguishant in the fire extinguisher cylinder meets the requirement.
