Connecting the PE conductor
No.
1 Loosen the 4 screws of the summation current transformer plate (if this option is installed).
2 Remove the summation current transformer with plate to expose the earth connection.
3 Remove the sheath of the power cable to a length of approx. 20 cm.
4 Select an M8-size cable lug for the corresponding conductor cross-section.
5 Strip the insulation from the end of the conductor so that the remaining insulation extends up to
the cable lug.
6 Fasten the cable lug correctly to the end of the conductor.
7 Put the cable lug onto the bolt of the cabinet's PE earth connection ⑥.
8 Tighten the fastening nut with the required torque:
• Size of fastening nut: M8
• Required tightening torque: 20 Nm (±10%)
9 Mount the summation current transformer with plate (if this option is installed).
Connect conductors L1, L2, L3

1 Strip the insulation from the conductor end, ensuring that no copper protrudes from the main
switch.
2 Feed the cables through the summation current transformer.
3 Insert the conductor end into the terminal of the main switch.
4 Tighten the terminal with the required tightening torque of 42.4 Nm (±10%).
Sealing
No.
1 Seal cable openings and other openings with permissible sealing material. Permissible sealing
material includes silicone and soft PU foam.
