7-2-5 Cleaning of head

Natural-cooling system is used in the head, thus the cooling
effect will significantly drop if dust or oil is adhered to the
surface. Clean the head surface according to the operation
environment.
• Do not clean the laser radiation indicator with alcohol.
It may cause deformation, alteration or breakage of the
indicator.

7-2-6 Replacement of gasket

In the following parts, O-rings are installed for the ingress protection. If there are signs of deterioration or damage in the
O-ring, replace it.
• In the fiber unit connection part
• In the output beam diameter control cover connection part

• Do not expose the gaskets to the direct sunlight and away from heat and moisture.
• Store the gaskets in a dustless area and where less air enters.
• Do not open the package just before use.
• Do not hang the gaskets. When they are hung, some parts will be deformed.
„ Steps for replacement
Refer to "2-3-6 Detaching / attaching the fiber unit" (P.47) and "2-3-7 Output beam diameter control" (P.51).
Remarks
Set of gaskets with the following contents.
• 5 O-rings, middle size: for the fiber unit connection
• 5 O-rings, small size: for the output beam diameter control cover connection
