4-3-5 Checking the I/O terminal status

Check the I/O connection status and its operation using the following functions.
„ I/O monitor
I/O monitor indicates ON/OFF status of the I/O terminals on the laser welding machine.
Open the I/O monitor with the following procedure.
1.
Select the screen mode to "Run".
2.
Click "I/O monit." on the right menu.
3.
The I/O monitor appears.
• The I/O monitor is updated at every 200 ms in remote mode
and at 20 ms in non-remote mode.
• There is a margin of error between the actual input/output
time and the ON/OFF time displayed on the screen.
„ Output simulation
With the output simulation you can check the output signals of the laser welding machine without an actual operation.
Use this function to confirm the operation of the external devices connected with the laser welding machine.
Output simulation starts with the following procedure.
1.
Select the screen mode to "Set".
2.
Click "Maintenance" on the right menu.
3.
Click "Output sim.".
4.
Output simulation table appears.
Click the output terminal name to simulate, then
the output status of the laser welding machine
changes.
