Troubles
Lasing position is out of
the setting place.
Causes
Head lacks fixation strength.
Constant vibration from surrounding
equipment (motor and press, etc.)
influences.
There are irregular vibrations coming
from surrounding equipment (air
cylinder and forklift, etc.).
(Lasing position moves at irregular
intervals.)
Start and/or stop timing of feeder does
not match with lasing operation.
The setting work distance does not
match the distance to the actual target
object.
There are noises coming from
surrounding equipment.

Measures
• Fix head with the specified torque.
• Improve strength of head mounting.
Perform vibration prevention measures.
Lasing position moves at the beginning:
Lasing trigger signal is likely to be input before
object is fully stopped or with a vibration
remaining. Turn the lasing trigger signal ON after
vibrations are completely damped.
Lasing position moves at the ending:
Object is likely to start moving before completion
of lasing.
Delay start timing of feeder or speed up scanning
speed so that lasing is finished before object
starts moving.
Set the same value to the work distance with the
actual distance from the head mounting surface
to the target object.
Protect laser welding machine against noises as
follows:
• Securely ground the frame ground terminal
of laser welding machine or surrounding
equipment.
• Isolate power and signal lines from each other
if they have been routed in parallel.
• Shield signal line.
• Isolate power supply for laser welding machine
from other equipment.
• Use noise cut transformer to absorb noises
from power supply.
