Troubleshooting

If any operation errors occur, check items below.
When the problems cannot be resolved, please contact our sales office or representatives.
„ Start-up
Troubles
• Power supply is not
turned on.
• The system does not
start up.
„ Laser pumping (Laser supply)
Troubles
Laser pumping does not
start.
Laser pumping does not
start in remote mode.
Causes
Power cable is not connected.
Key switch is not turned on.
Power is not supplied.
Fuse is blown.
Causes
The interlock terminal is disconnected.
LASER STOP 2 IN of the I/O terminal
is disconnected.
Power is not supplied to the common
terminal of the I/O terminal.
Signals from the external control device
are refused.
The DIP switch setting is not consistent
with the actual control method of laser
pumping (laser supply).

Measures
Connect the power supply cable.
Turn on the key switch.
Check the power supply.
Replace the fuse by following the procedures
described in the Setup/Maintenance Guide.
Measures
• Check the wiring of INTERLOCK 1 and
INTERLOCK 2 respectively.
• If the safety equipment such as door and
switch connected to the INTERLOCK 1 and
2 is in released status, restore the original
condition.
• Check the connection between LASER STOP
2A IN, LASER STOP 2B IN and OUT COM. of
the I/O terminal.
• If the safety equipment such as door and
switch connected to the LASER STOP 2A IN
and LASER STOP 2B IN is in released status,
restore the original condition.
Connect the internal or external power supply
to IN COM. and OUT COM. in the I/O terminal
respectively.
Refer to "External Control" in Troubleshooting.
• Check if the setting of DIP switch No. 2 and the
control method for laser pumping (laser supply)
are consistent:
• By I/O: OFF
• By communication command : ON
• If the DIP switch setting is changed, restart the
laser welding machine.
