About This Chapter
During the conference, you can control the video and audio of the sites present at the conference.
7.1 Adjusting the Display Effects of the Video
You can adjust the display effects of video by adjusting local video effects (such as the brightness
and the saturation), the picture offset, the sampling phase, and by setting the HUAWEI VPC500/
VPC520 (VPC500/VPC520 for short) parameters.
7.2 Adjusting Audio Effects
You can adjust the audio effects, such as the audio input, sound effect, volume, and stereo.
7.3 Adjusting the Volume at the Local Site
You can adjust the output volume of the local speaker by pressing
control.
7.4 Enjoying Stereo Audio
In dual-audio-channel mode, stereo effect audio can be enjoyed allowing users to accurately
locate the direction from which the sound comes, thus gaining a true-to-life experience. The
input sources for the left and right audio channels can be set.
7.5 Switching Between Audio-only and Video Calls
To switch a call between audio-only and video modes, select
7.6 Adjusting the Screen Layout
The screen layout can be adjusted using two methods. Press
between layouts. Alternatively, select Layout from the option bar to display a screen from which
a desired layout can be selected.
7.7 Selecting a Video Source
You can set video input interfaces for the local video, local presentation, and remote video.
7.8 Hiding the Local Video
During a conference, you can hide the local video to prevent the video from being seen by remote
sites. After the local video is hidden, the local site is displayed as a blue screen at remote sites
(analogous to muting the local audio).
