About This Chapter
This chapter describes maintenance and troubleshooting methods to help maintain and
troubleshoot the terminal during use.
11.1 Routine Maintenance
An administrator must check the working environment, cable connection, communication
network connection, and audio-visual input and output of the terminal periodically, to ensure
that the terminal and its peripheral equipment work properly.
11.2 Software Upgrade
The terminal supports the following software upgrade methods: locally, with the bootrom, or
from the web interface.
11.3 Diagnostics
On the terminal, you can perform sound and color bar tests, network tests, and loopback tests.
11.4 Troubleshooting
This section describes common problems encountered when using the terminal and describes
their relevant solutions.
