1.4 Connecting Cables

This section describes how to set up an HD videoconferencing environment using a simple
configuration.

Interface
Description
SD camera
The SD IN 1 interfaces of the ViewPoint 9039,
interfaces
ViewPoint 9036, ViewPoint 9035, and ViewPoint 9033
are RCA interfaces to which CVBS signals are input.
The SD IN 1 interfaces of the ViewPoint 9039S,
HUAWEI VP9039A and HUAWEI VP9036Sare DVI
interfaces. A DVI-(HDMI/VGA/S-Video/CVBS)
conversion cable can be connected to the SD IN 1
interface so that CVBS and S-Video signals can be input.
The SD IN 1 interface of the HUAWEI VP9035A is an
S-Video interface to which S-Video signals are input. A
conversion cable can be connected to the SD IN 1
interface so that CVBS signals can be input.
NOTE
Serial ports
These are dual-mode interfaces that can be used as RS232
or RS422 interfaces. Camera control cables can be
connected to these interfaces. In addition, these interfaces
can be used for diagnostics and maintenance.
Ethernet
10M/100M full duplex interfaces

Both USB ports support a bandwidth of 480 Mbit/s, 12
Mbit/s, or 1.5 Mbit/s.
Microphone
This is a 10M/100M full duplex interface for connection
