Troubleshooting a Connect Failure
To begin with, check the following items:
Point to check
Is the SV8300 active?
Is the cable between PCPro and the
SV8300 (or modem) connected prop-
erly?
Has a valid connection account been
selected?
Is the PCPro going to connect the link
between SV8300 and PCPro soon, after
disconnecting the link?
If a link still cannot be established after all these checks, proceed to checks of connection method.
• IP connection
• RS-232C connection (direct connection)
• Modem connection
Corrective action
If the SV8300 is inactive, turn it on, then back on.
For more details, refer to the "System Hardware Manual".
If the cable is not connected properly, reconnect it.

If a connection account from the connection method has been
selected, select the connection account associated with the
connection method in the [Connect] screen.
It takes a few seconds to reconnect the link between the
SV8300 and PCPro. Reconnect the link after few second.
