IP Connection
Point to check
Is the PCPro LAN blade (NIC)
mounted properly?
Is the LAN cable connected properly?
Is the IP connection correct?
Is the destination logon number used
by
another copy of PCPro or an external
device?
Is the destination port number or IP
address wrong?
Is any IP address or port number used
that is unacceptable for network secu-
rity reasons?
Is the network running successfully?
Is the maintenance port or VOIP port
allowed to connect the PCPro?
Corrective action
Check the status of "Local Area Connection" in the Win-
dows [Network Logon] screen. For more details, browse
through Windows Help.
If the LAN cable is not connected properly, reconnect it.
Enter the "Ping" command with the IP address of the
SV8300 specified to test the communication status. For
more information about the "Ping" command, browse
through Windows Help.
Check that the destination port number is available. If it is
used by another device, clear the connection between that
device and the SV8300 and then retry the connection
operation.

Display the connection account to verify the setting. If the
setting is invalid, correct it.
Contact with the network administrator.
Reconnect the link after 10 minutes since there is the pos-
sibility that a session of ETHERNET/VOIP port is
remained by disconnecting of LAN cable and a network
failure.
Confirm whether the maintenance port or the VOIP port
has been allowed to connect the PCPro by the commend
(CM0B Y=0XX/1XX>20: 1) or not.
