6. Electrical installation

6.1. Safety

DANGER
Improper work can lead to life-threatening injury or DEATH!
– The electrical installation must be carried out by qualified personnel
according to the site and equipment requirements, and the relevant
electrical codes.
– When the electrical installation is completed, the main and auxiliary
power supply to the drive must not be switched on without the
consent of the ABB commissioning personnel.
– Take appropriate measures to prevent the main and auxiliary power
supply from being switched on during installation.

6.3. Cable requirements

6.3.1. Power cables

equipotential bonding conductor, see:

6.3.2. Auxiliary and control cables

NOTICE
– DO NOT lay control cables in parallel to the power supply cables.
If this cannot be avoided, a minimum distance of 30 cm must be
maintained between control and power supply cables.
– Cross control and power supply cables at an angle of 90°
