Installation Layout Principles
Layout principles for installing the NetCol8000-A:
If the outdoor unit is placed higher than the indoor unit, install an oil trap every 5 m to 6 m
along pipes in the vertical direction.

The inverted trap should be higher than the top copper pipe of the condenser in the outdoor
unit.
Issue 10 (2019-01-15)
 The pipes in real line are installed by Huawei before delivery.
 The pipes in dash are to be routed onsite by technical personnel.
 Huawei does not provide the inverted trap (component 11) and oil traps (component 9) used in the
scenario where the outdoor unit is placed higher than the indoor unit. However, to ensure the normal
operating and easy maintenance of the NetCol8000-A, it is recommended that you use these two
components.
