RPC Session Control
In RPC mode, the session controller is configured with the address of the edge devices.
The controller establishes communication with the APEX1000 and requests information
concerning the APEX1000 interfaces. The APEX1000 can be operating in either SDV or
VOD/BC systems.
You must configure the APEX1000 to define those GigE inputs that map to a specific
QAM output channel. The APEX uses the RPC Session Control window to generate this
configuration.
To begin configuring this mode, select SDV > RPC Session Control.
