4.8 (Optional) Connecting T/H Sensors

Context
● T/H sensors outside the cabinet are configured to detect the temperatures of
cold/hot aisles. They can be flexibly installed on the server cabinet based on
site situations. It is recommended that the T/H sensors be deployed near heat
sources in the hot aisle, or near places that lack cooling capacity in the cold
aisle. Place the T/H sensors on the cabinet adjacent to the smart cooling
product without directly facing the exhaust vents of the smart cooling product.
● During installation, reserve cable routes for the T/H sensors.
Procedure
Step 1 Connect the T/H sensors outside the cabinet and the T/H sensors at the return air
side in series.

Step 2 Set DIP switches of the T/H sensors.

● The T/H sensors should be 1.5 m above the ground (33 U).
● Each smart cooling product supports a maximum of thirteen T/H sensors.
