position on all copies made in Direct?

Does the scanning lamp flicker while the
scanner is moving forward?

Make reduced copies, and compare them
against copies made in Direct. Are the
positions of the problem different?

Is the copyboard glass soiled with oil?

Is the horizontal reproduction ratio in
Direct within the specified range?

Clean the scanning lamp, reflecting plate,
mirror, lens, and dust-proofing glass. Is
the problem corrected?

Replace the photosensitive drum. Is the
problem corrected?
