Start-up
Note:
Protective oil on the brake resistors will burn off when the brake resistor is used for the first
time. Make sure that the airflow is sufficient.
Set the following parameters:
1. Disable the overvoltage control of the drive with parameter .
2. Set the source of parameter to point to the digital input where the thermal switch of the
brake resistor is wired.
3. Set parameter to .
4. Enable the brake chopper by parameter . If is selected, set also the brake resistor
overload protection parameters and according to the application.
5. Check the resistance value of parameter .
