Menu Architecture
The KVL 3000 Menu System is organized as
shown on page 2-9. The menu selections for
the Main Menu (shown on the facing page) are
summarized below. All other menu selections
are described in the appropriate chapters in this
section of the manual.
MAIN Menu
H UPDATE
Press to automatically load key
messages addressed to the target device by
the KMF (p/o Store and Forward feature)
H LIST
Provides access to screen used for
displaying list of target devices requiring an
update (as downloaded from the KMF, p/o
Store and Forward feature)
H KMF
Provides access to screen used for
communicating with a KMF, as well as setting
up parameters used when communicating
with a KMF
H TARGET
Provides access to screen used
for target operations
H KEYS
Provides access to screen used for
entering (and deleting) keys into the KVL 3000
H GROUPS
Provides access to screen used
for creating/modifying/deleting Key Groups
H CONFIG
Provides access to Configuration
Menu (see Chapter 3)
H LOG
Provides access to screen used for
viewing/printing/clearing log entries
H PORT
Provides access to screen used for
copying encryption keys from ASN storage
(stored by PIDs) to ASTRO 25 storage
(stored by CKRs) and vice versa
