Convenient
Excuse Function
You find this function convenient when you are eager to end the conversation. It plays the call
sound or a baby's cry during conversation to give you an excuse to end the conversation.
You can set the sound from among the three types with "Excuse Sound" (

The base phone makes a quiet excuse
sound audible at the Main Entrance or at
the Unit Entrance.
End the conversation using the sound as
an excuse.

Extension Function
When talking to the main entrance, the unit entrance or another unit, you can extend conversation time if
you want to talk for longer than 1 minute. Using the extension function, you can talk for up to 3 minutes.
(Conversation is automatically terminated in approximately 1 minute in the usual mode.)

The indicator will start flashing about 50
seconds after you start talking.
At the end of the initial 1 minute conversation,
you can talk for another 1 minute.
In about 1 minute and 50 seconds, the
"Cont" indicator flashes again.
Cont can be used up to twice.
Note
Conversation can be extended up to 3 minutes.
When talking to the Manager Room

starts to flash 4 minutes after starting the conversation. You can extend it
by touching
At the end of the initial 4 minute conversation, you can talk for another 3 minute.
(The Cont display flashes again when approximately seven minutes has elapsed.)
Cont can be used up to twice.
Note
Conversation can be extended up to 10 minutes.
