Cautions
Before Use
●This product is equipped with call and video functions between the base unit and the Lobby Phone
or the door phone with camera, the call function between the door phone and the Manager Room
or other units, delivery and message functions, and alarm functions (emergency, fire, gas leak,
incomplete combustion, security, call, water leaks, earthquake, general alarm).
Note
Some functions might be not available depending on the model and system configuration.
●This product has a function to set off the alarm when a gas alarm or a detector detects something,
however, it is not designed to prevent gas leaks, carbon monoxide poisoning, or fire.We assume
no liability for damages caused by gas leaks, incomplete combustion, or fire accidents.
●This product has a function to detect opened windows or doors, however, it is not a intrusion or
theft preventor. We assume no liability for incurred damages.
●This product has a function to notify of earthquakes by linking with the earthquake early warning
system of the Japan Meteorological Agency, however, it does not guarantee the accuracy of
notification or prevent damage. We assume no liability for incurred damage.

●Confirm carefully whether alarms are not false alarms before alerting the police or fire department.
Cautions on Earthquake Early Warning
◎We assume no liability for damages incurred by tenants in the following situations.
If the earthquake early warning from the Meteorological Agency did not arrive in time before the

earthquake.

If there is an error in the estimated arrival time of an earthquake.
If there is an error in the estimated intensity of an earthquake.

If a false alarm is issued from the Meteorological Agency.

If an earthquake alarm was not provided because of a failure in the communications circuits or other causes

even though the earthquake early warning system of the Meteorological Agency was activated correctly.
If an earthquake alarm was not provided because of equipment failure even though the

earthquake early warning system of the Meteorological Agency was activated correctly.
If there was damage caused by an earthquake even though the earthquake early warning was

accurately provided to the resident before the earthquake occurred.

If the earthquake early warning could not be delivered because of other alarms, such as fire or
gas leaks.

Other conditions and circumstances for which Panasonic is not responsible.
Cautions on Talking
●Do not turn off the dedicated breaker for the power (AC100V). Some alarms and talking will be disabled.
●Talk within 50 cm of the base unit. Going further away than that distance sometimes makes it hard
to hear voices.
●When the environment around the base unit, Lobby Phone, or door phone is noisy (baby crying,
dog barking, sound of the stereo etc.), it sometimes interrupts the voice of the caller, making it
hard to hear.
●When talking between the base unit and the Lobby Phone or door phone, if you start talking
before the caller finishes talking, it sometimes interrupts the voice of the caller, making it hard to
hear. Conversations will be smooth if you start talking after the caller finishes talking.
●While using a mobile phone or PHS, bringing the device near the base unit sometimes disrupts
images or sound, but it is not a failure.
