Precautions for the Use of microSD Memory Card
●1GB to 2GB microSD memory cards and 4GB to 32GB microSDHC memory cards can be used.
Panasonic memory cards are recommended.
●With some types of microSD memory card, video and sound recording or playback takes longer
but this is not a failure.
*Response time varies depending on the data volume recorded in the microSD memory card,
or the type of microSD memory card used. Higher data volume may take longer to respond.
●microSDXC memory card is not supported. A microSD or microSDHC memory card must be used.
●A microSD memory card is a precision device. Be careful so as not to drop, apply undue force or
impact on it. Do not expose it to high temperature or direct sunlight for long periods of time.
●Recorded videos and sound data may be lost due to electrical noises, static electricity, or failure of
the base unit or microSD memory card. We recommend important video and sound recordings be
saved in a PC or the like. We assume no liability for damaged or lost data.
●Images recorded by devices other than the base unit cannot be played back.
●Do not touch the end terminal part on the back surface of the microSD memory card.
●In recording or using images and sound, the user should accept responsibility for the management
and handling of the recorded data, considering the privacy and portrait rights of the subject.
●Inserting the microSD memory card in the wrong direction can cause failure in the card itself as
well as the base unit. Make sure that the labeled surface is facing you and insert in the correct
direction.
●When the closure of the setting cover is incomplete, take out the microSD memory card to check
the direction and insert again.
●Inserting the microSD memory card when the screen is off shows the setting for the saving
destination of the recorded data. Select the save destination according to the instructions shown
on the screen. Selecting the SD card will transfer recorded data to the card, and a message
saying, "The data is being transferred from Main unit to SD card." will appear. No operation is
available while the message is displayed.
●When taking out the microSD memory card, eject according to the instructions on page 69 to 70.
Ejecting the card or turning off the power while writing data etc. may damage recorded data.
●Note that the number or video and sound recordings and the available recording time on a
microSD memory card will vary depending on the use environment. (
space is smaller than what is displayed on the card.
●When there are a large number of protected items, or data other than base unit data is saved on a
microSD memory card, video or sound recording may not be possible due to insufficient memory
space on the card.Secure sufficient space by releasing the protection setting or deleting data
which is not base unit data.
