Safe Speed Monitor (SSM)
Definition according to EN 61800-5-2:
"The SSM function supplies a safe
output signal to indicate whether the
motor speed is below a specified limit
value."
Note
SSM is a pure signaling function
Contrary to other Safety Integrated functions, a violation of the SSM limit does not result in a
drive-based stop response.

A centrifuge may only be filled below a velocity
defined by the user.
