LACP Minimum Links Option

To configure the LACP individual setting for all the ports in a static LACP LAG,
use the following commands:
RS G8264(config)# interface portchannel lacp <adminkey of the LAG>
RS G8264(configPortChannel)# [no] lacp suspendindividual
Note: By default, external ports are configured with the command lacp
suspendindividual, while internal ports are configured with the command
no lacp suspendindividual.
For dynamic LAGs that require a guaranteed amount of bandwidth to be
considered useful, you can specify the minimum number of links for the LAG. If
the specified minimum number of ports is not available, the LAG link will not be
established. If an active LACP LAG loses one or more component links, the LAG
will be placed in the down state if the number of links falls to less than the specified
minimum. By default, the minimum number of links is 1, meaning that LACP
LAGs will remain operational as long as at least one link is available.
The LACP minimum links setting can be configured as follows:
Interface (port) configuration mode:
RS G8264(config)# interface port <port number or range>
RS G8264(configif)# portchannel minlinks <minimum links>
RS G8264(configif)# exit
Portchannel configuration mode:
RS G8264(config)# interface portchannel lacp <LACP key>
RS G8264(configPortChannel)# portchannel minlinks <minimum links>
RS G8264(configif)# exit
