EVB Configuration

1. Create an EVB profile.
2. Enable Reflective Relay.
3. Enable VSI discovery.
4. Enable a server port.
5. Add EVB profile to port.
6. Configure ECP retransmission interval.

This section includes the steps to configure EVB based on the following values:
 Profile number: 1
 Port number: 1
 Retry interval: 8000 milliseconds
 VSI Database:
Manager IP: 172.31.37.187

Port: 80

Note: VSI Database can be accessed via HTTP or HTTPS. The manager IP can be
configured with an IPv4 or IPv6 address.
RS G8264(config)# virt evb profile 1 (Enter number from 1‐16)
RS G8264(conf­evbprof)# reflective­relay
RS G8264(conf­evbprof)# vsi­discovery
RS G8264(conf-evbprof)# exit
RS G8264(config)# system server­ports port <port‐number>
RS G8264(config)# interface port 1
RS G8264(config-if)# evb profile 1 (Enter EVB profile
ID)
RS G8264(config­if)# exit
RS G8264(config)# ecp retransmit­interval 8000
(Enter retransmission interval in milliseconds (100‐9000)
