Step 5 Go to the area with necessary tools and communications devices to check the cause of the fire
alarm.
Step 6 Check whether there is an alarm on the extinguishant control panel outside the container.
Step 7 If the extinguishant control panel reports no LOCAL FIRE alarm, check the cable connection
from the extinguishant control panel to the management system.
Step 8 Check the alarm settings for the extinguishant control panel in the management system.

Follow-up Procedure
Analyze the cause of the fault, and work out and record the preventive measures.
Issue 02 (2017-01-10)
Remove the yellow cover on the extinguishant control panel, press the manual gas release
button, leave the site immediately, and wait for the fire engineer to handle the situation.
If the manual gas release does not take effect, remove the safety pin of the electrical
actuator, press down the red button on the electrical actuator, leave the site immediately,
and wait for the fire engineer to handle the situation.
If a container is on fire inside, do not enter the container or stay around the container
before the fire is extinguished.
After the fire is extinguished, clean the site and restore the systems to eliminate further fire
risks. If you have any questions, promptly contact Huawei technical support.
