Step 4 Install the new contactor. Clamp the clip at the lower side of the new contactor to
the guide rail, push the contactor upwards, and press the contactor inwards.
Step 5 Connect the cables again.
Step 6 Close the door of the electric control box.
Step 7 Power on the unit and tap Start on the home screen. Ensure that the unit is
running normally without any alarms.

12.23 Replacing an SPD

Procedure
Step 1 On the home screen of the display module, tap Shutdown and turn off the unit
switch in the PDF.
Exercise caution because the unit is still energized after it is shut down on the
home screen of the display module.
Step 2 Open the door of the electric control box.
Step 3 Pry the clip ring of the faulty SPD using a flat-head screwdriver, and remove the
faulty SPD.

A surge protective device (SPD) needs to be replaced.
A spare SPD of the same model is available and functional.
