ELNET
The outbound telnet feature is not available on all platforms.
Use the outbound telnet client settings to control the telnet sessions that originate from the switch and connect to a remote
system.
To access the Outbound Telnet Client Configuration page, click LAN > Administration > Outbound Telnet Client
Configuration in the navigation menu.

Description
Specifies whether the Outbound Telnet service is Enabled or Disabled. The default
value is Enabled.
• Enable: Users can initiate outbound telnet sessions from the switch CLI.
• Disable: No outbound telnet sessions can originate from the switch.
Specifies the maximum number of Outbound Telnet Sessions allowed. The default
value is 5. The valid range is 0 to 5 sessions.
Specifies the Outbound Telnet login inactivity timeout. The default value is 5. The valid
range is 1 to 160 minutes.
