Supply toner: supply for 6.7 seconds from reserve tank.
(amount of toner supply: approx. 1.1 g)
Perform twice.
Rotate bottle for 7 seconds: supply toner to reserve tank.
(Toner is not supplied to developer unit.)
Note: Bottle rotation means toner is being added to the reserve tank, not the
developer unit. Therefore, the number of bottle rotations can not be used as
a check of proper TDC adjustment.
6) Manual supply of toner
• The toner in the developer unit can be manually increased by supplying toner
from the toner hopper to the developer unit to get higher copy density.
To manually supply toner: Choose "Toner supply" in the "User mode".
In so doing, approx. 2.4 g is supplied to the developer mixing unit.
However, when toner density is higher than the predetermined level, toner will
not be supplied.
