Procedure
(1) Remove the hard disk mounting
bracket. (right) (2 screws)
Note : This bracket is for the
printer hard disk drive.
(FA-HD01)
(2) Remove the hard disk mounting
bracket. (left) (2 screws)

(1) Install the hard disk drive in the
rear compartment (4 screws).
Note : When the backup hard disk
d r i v e ( FA - H D 0 2 ) i s
installed, install it in the
front compartment.
(1) Connect the power supply har-
ness to the hard disk drive.
(2) Reinstall the hard disk drive
mounting bracket (left).
(3) Reinstall the hard disk drive
mounting bracket (right).
(1) Remove the system control PCB.
(3 connectors, 5 screws)
(2) Remove the P-ROM on the sys-
tem control PCB.
Note: Machine will now boot
from the hard disk drive.
(3) Connect the IDE signal harness
to the IDE connector (CN6) on the
system control PCB.
(4) Reinstall the system control PCB.
(5) Connect the ground wire to the system
control PCB mounting bracket.
