(resolution during runtime)
When you deploy the package, links of the type "Resolution for deployment" are resolved and
the objects are imported into the component.
Links of the "Resolution during runtime" type are only resolved by the package during package
runtime.
The tree view already contains the possible "target areas" as target area nodes.
Via the context menu, you can create, remove or edit folders and files under the target area
nodes.
During package execution, existing files are overwritten without prompting.

Permits data to be added to the project as a link from folders and
files.
Archive contents can also be linked.
These links are removed for package deployment from Expert and
the data is imported as a copy into the components. The advant‐
age of this variant of importing data is that the data is not kept in
duplicate (in project components and the database) and that the
contents of the linked folders and files can be edited externally
until the package is deployed.

An absolute or relative path is stored for each link.
The relative path is relative to the storage location of the package.
These links are only removed during runtime by the package and
the data is imported as a copy into the components. The advant‐
age of this variant of importing data is that the data is not kept in
several instances (in project components, package components
and the database), but only at one point and that the contents of
the linked folders and files can be edited externally until the pack‐
age is executed.
At the destination, this data is not imported and used directly by
the package until package execution.
