Using filters, parts of a line can be included in or excluded from the comparison based on
regular expressions.
Characters excluded from the comparison are shown in gray in the comparison results. This
means that the contents of a file are always displayed completely, but marked in color.
If only the relevant characters are identical in the line but non-relevant characters are different,
the comparison symbol will be a gray equals sign.

separate background color can be defined for each comparison configuration.
