Specify access point:
● Select S7ONLINE access for a device, if the connection to the programming device or PC
is established via PROFINET or PROFIBUS.
● Select DEVICE access for a device if the connection to the programming device or PC is
established via the Ethernet interface.
Transferring the STARTER project to the drive unit
To transfer the STARTER project you created offline to the drive unit, carry out the following
steps:

Save project data so it is protected from power failure
The project has now been loaded to the drive unit. This data is currently available only in the
drive unit's volatile memory and not on the CompactFlash Card!
To store the project data on the memory card so that it is protected in the event of a power
failure, carry out the following step.

Copy from RAM to ROM
The Copy from RAM to ROM button is only active when the drive unit is selected in the
project navigator.
