Procedure
Step 1 Remove all cables and mark the cables clearly.
Step 2 Remove the four screws that secure the ECC500 collector using a Phillips screwdriver, and
remove the faulty ECC500.

Step 3 Install a new collector, and tighten the screws in reverse order of
Step 4 Reconnect all cables based on the marks.
Step 5 Start the ECC500 collector and check that the new collector is working properly.
Step 6 Configure the ECC500 collector and ports based on the management system initial
configuration table for the solution in use.

Follow-up Procedure
Dispose of the removed ECC500 collector that is confirmed faulty.

5.3.7 Replacing an RH2288 Server

Prerequisites
Issue 04 (2018-01-05)
For the diagrams and tables, see the initial configuration parameter manual for the solution in use.
If the power indicator on the main control module of the ECC500 collector is on and the ECC500
collector is communicating properly with the management system, the ECC500 collector is working
properly.
An RH2288 server needs to be replaced.
