5.1.3 Replacing a Monitoring rPDU

Tools: Phillips screwdriver, protective gloves
Materials: spare monitoring rPDU
Document: none
Skill requirement: electrician's work permit
Procedure
Step 1 Shut down devices powered by the monitoring rPDU.
Step 2 Switch off the circuit breaker of the monitoring rPDU, and unplug devices powered by the
rPDU.
Step 3 Disconnect the male connector of the monitoring rPDU from its female connector.
Step 4 Remove the monitoring rPDU using a Phillips screwdriver.
Issue 04 (2018-01-05)
A monitoring rack power distribution unit (rPDU) needs to be replaced.
A spare monitoring rPDU of the same model is available and functional.
