5.3.8.3 Replacing an Exit Button

Tools: insulation tape, Phillips screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver, protective gloves
Materials: spare exit button
Document: none
Skill requirement: weak-current engineer
Procedure
Step 1 Open the enclosure of the exit button, remove the cables, and remove the exit button to be
replaced.
Issue 04 (2018-01-05)
The card reader is working properly if the pre-fab. module door can be opened from outside the module
using an access card and door opening operations are logged in the monitoring system.
An exit button needs to be replaced.
A spare exit button of the same model is available and functional.
