To Obtain a Good Color Balance on Thick Paper

Before adjustment
The copy image looks light on thick paper.
 Explanation
When image looks light on paper that is different from usual paper, perform automatic calibration for
each paper type to obtain the optimum image quality.
 Procedures
• You can start with any of the procedures. But it is recommended to perform the procedures in order, as
listed below. You can perform one procedure in conjunction with another. But if this changes the image
quality more than required or loses the effectiveness of the adjustment, restore the settings made in
the previously performed procedure to the original ones. Then perform other procedures.
• Only the service technician must perform procedures (1), (2) and (4).
• Both the service technician and the user can perform procedure (3).
