Symptom
Compressors
generate excessive
noises.
The compressor
suction temperature
is too high.
An indoor fan fails
to start.
Issue 12 (2020-10-28)
Possible Cause
The air filter is dirty or
blocked.
The static overtemperature
threshold is not properly
set for the thermostatic
expansion valve.
The sensing bulb of the
thermostatic expansion
valve has fallen off.
The external residual
pressure is too high, and air
flow decreases.
The air exhaust pressure is
too low.
Liquid returns in a
compressor.
The lubricant is insufficient.
The transport sheet metal
is not removed from a
compressor.
Suction temperature is
higher than 25°C.
Either the main circuit
breaker or the indoor fan
circuit breaker is not
switched on.
An indoor fan contactor
has an abnormal pickup.
An indoor fan is protected
by a thermal overload
relay.
An indoor fan is protected
by an internal high-
temperature guard.

7 System Operation and Maintenance
Reference Solution
Replace the air filter.
Optimize settings for the
thermostatic expansion
valve.
Check the sensing bulb of
the thermostatic expansion
valve.
Check whether the air
channels are blocked.
Check whether the
controller and driver of the
outdoor fan work properly.
Check whether the oil
temperature and exhaust
temperature are within a
normal range.
Add the lubricant.
Remove the sheet metal.
Adjust the thermostatic
expansion valve or add
refrigerant.
Check the circuit breaker
status.
Check whether the main
control board sends signals
to the indoor fan contactor
and whether the contactor
is damaged.
Check the thermal overload
relay status and the fan
current.
Check the high-
temperature protection
switch status.
