This topic describes the installation guide for the NetCol8000-A indoor unit,
including precautions, transportation and installation, cable connections, removing
the protective device and installation verification.

3.1 Installation Precautions

This topic describes the precautions for installing the NetCol8000-A, including
installation tools, structural specifications, layout for installation, and installation
requirements.

To ensure the optimal operating condition and longest service life, install the
device correctly as required.

For the details about how to install the outdoor unit, see the
Manual .
Check whether the environment meets the requirements before installation,
and whether reconstruction is required for routing water pipes and cables,
and constructing ventilation pipes. For the detailed requirements, see
Installation Requirements.
Install the device according to the design drawing and reserve space for
maintenance.
Install downflow NetCol8000-As in the equipment room with a raised floor.
It is recommended that the device be sealed after installation (before power-
on) with baffle plates or plastic bags to prevent dust on the top of the device
or inside the device.
When constructing multiple smart cooling products, label cables and copper
pipes between indoor and outdoor units, and connect copper pipes as well as
cables properly to prevent incorrect connection.
