C-170 CALL REDIRECTION (FOR AT&T #4ESS)
1. General Description
ISDN (AT&T-#4ESS) enables the call to a busy station in a PBX to transfer (FC TRANSFER) to a
predetermined destination in its network.
In CALL REDIRECTION, a PBX has to send RELCOM message including "user busy" or "resource
unavailable" (Cause) information.
Whether this service is available or not depends on ISDN service provider and needs to be provisioned
