4.1.2 Image Settings

Note
When the data format of camera images is set to JPEG, audio can be transmitted.
Home Position button
is displayed as inoperable when no home positions are registered to the camera.
Motion Detection bar
When [Perform motion detection with the camera] is selected in the motion detection settings, the motion
detection status bar is not displayed.
4.1.2 Image Settings
Data Format
Set the [Internet Mode] to [ON] to display MPEG-4 or H.264 images from cameras registered over the Internet.
Note
Cameras connected to the network camera recorder software on the same network (LAN) can display
MPEG-4 and H.264 images even when [Internet Mode] is set to "OFF".
When the date format is H.264 or MPEG-4, the camera cannot be connected to with https.
Image Quality
The following image quality levels can be selected:
[0 Super fine], [1 Fine], [2], [3], [4], [5 Normal], [6], [7], [8], [9 Low]
The default is [5 Normal].
Frame Rate Settings
The frame rates that can be set for cameras are as follows:
JPEG Images
[0.1 fps], [0.2 fps], [0.33 fps], [0.5 fps], [1 fps], [2 fps], [3 fps], [5 fps], [6 fps], [10 fps], [15 fps], [30 fps]
The default is [10 fps].
Note
The JPEG image frame rate may become slower due to factors such as the network environment,
capacity of the computer, recording subject, and number of user accesses.
See your network camera user manual for more information.
MPEG-4/H.264 Images
[1 fps], [3 fps], [5 fps], [7.5 fps], [10 fps], [15 fps], [20 fps], [30 fps], [60 fps]
The default is [10 fps].
The default for 360° network cameras that have image capture mode set to quad streams is [7.5 fps].
Note
When [60 fps] is configured for the camera, images on the multi-monitoring and multi-playback
screens may be momentarily paused, and slight disturbances may occur due to frame skipping.
Also, if the network connection speed and the processing capabilities of the computer are
insufficient, images may not be displayed smoothly.
