2.4.1 Multi-Monitoring window
If the number of registered cameras exceeds the limit of screens in a window, extra pages are
automatically created to accommodate the number of cameras.
To display the camera name and the frame rate, select [Camera Name] and [Frame Rate] in
[Multi-Monitoring] under [Preferences]. (® Page 104)
Sometimes audio may be interrupted, or the monitoring image may be paused.
The display load may increase and exceed maximum display capability when the data format is set to
MPEG-4/H.264 and monitoring is performed by several cameras. If that happens, the following
message is displayed.
If you click [OK], the data format changes to JPEG. If the camera does not support JPEG, the monitoring
frame rate is automatically changed to 1 frame/second.
By doing this the image frame rate may decrease.
The maximum number of cameras that can be connected simultaneously varies according to the data
format and the image size.
For more information, see your camera user manual.
We recommend that you limit the number of camera connections in order to maintain the performance
of cameras used for recording.
Audio is played back for the selected camera. You can adjust the volume with the slide bar. (®
Page 111)
When you monitor a camera that supports audio, audio may be interrupted due to your PC performance
or network environment. In this case, lower the maximum bandwidth setting on the network page of
the camera.
Depending on your computer and network environment, the display of the camera's image may be
delayed when compared to the display in the BB-HNP11 or BB-HNP15 software, or a browser's
monitoring window.
If settings related to images (e.g., resolution) in the setting screen of a WV series network cameras
and some BL series network cameras are changed during monitoring, communications with the
software will be blocked and the monitoring image will be temporarily interrupted.
When the mode used to combine 4 camera images into 1 is set to WV series network cameras and
some BL series network cameras, red lines used to select images are displayed within the green outline
of the selected camera.
If different data formats (for example JPEG and H.264) are displayed at the same time, sound and
images may become out of sync due to image compression processing.
Click to center
You can center the camera image on a desired point by clicking on the screen of the selected camera.
