2.5 Recording Images

Even if the software is functioning normally, the operations of other programs may affect computer
performance, which may result in interruptions of around 1 minute in recording.
•
Even if the camera does not support pan/tilt/zoom functions, images can be viewed using the pan/tilt/
zoom functions of this software on the multi-monitoring page. However, in this case recorded images
will be of images sent from the camera (images without pan/tilt/zoom operations).

2.5.1 Recording Method

You can record by using the following 6 methods.
To start manual recording, select the camera to record, click
select the recording method from the menu that is displayed.

Continuous images (® Page 76)
Select [Start Continuous Recording] to perform continuous recording on the selected camera.

Motion detection recording (® Page 77)
Select [Start Motion Detection Recording] to start motion detection recording on the selected camera.
Motion detection recording starts when the [Threshold] value is exceeded.
•
Alarm recording (® Page 78)
Select [Start Alarm 1 Detection Recording]/[Start Alarm 2 Detection Recording] to start alarm detection
recording on the selected camera.
When the alarm signal is detected, alarm recording starts.
•
Sensor recording (® Page 79)
Select [Start Sensor Detection Recording] to start sensor detection recording on the selected camera.
When the sensor signal is detected, sensor recording starts.
•
Sound detection recording (® Page 79)
Select [Start Sound Detection Recording] to start sound detection recording on the selected camera.
Recording starts when the sound which is set is detected.
•
Shock detection recording (® Page 80)
Select [Start Shock Detection Recording] to start shock detection recording on the selected camera.
Recording starts when the shock which is set is detected.
A recording icon is displayed on the multi-monitoring window during recording.
