Note
If you select the MPEG-4 or H.264 format, CPU usage will be higher. To reduce CPU usage, select
[Specified Frame Rate] and set the frame rate to a low value.
When using WV series network cameras and some BL series network cameras, the JPEG image frame
rate may become slower due factors such as the network environment, capacity of the computer,
recording subject, and number of user accesses. For more information, see your network camera user
manual.
When using WV series network cameras and some BL series network cameras, the Bit rate that can
be selected differs depending on the connected camera, and the data format and resolution used. For
more information, see your network camera user manual.
If you selected the MPEG-4 or H.264 format, the confirmation window will be displayed.
When the data format is set as [H.264]
Select to record the image with audio (Audio and Image) or only images
(Image Only) (default).
Selects the camera image resolution. Camera resolutions vary according to
the camera that is connected and its data format. Default is 320 ´ 240.
Selects the camera image bit rate.
The frame rate can be selected.
The images on the multi-monitoring window are updated and recorded at
the maximum frame rate which is set by selecting [Specified].
JPEG: [Not specified], [Specified] (0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 1-30 images/second)
MPEG–4/H.264: [Not specified], [Specified] (1, 5, 10, 15, 30 images/
second)
The estimated recording size is calculated based on the number of days of
recording that is specified according to the above setting. (1 to 60 days.
Default is 30 days)
When [Specified Frame Rate] is set to [Not specified], the predicted
value with calculations made with 30 frames per second is displayed.
Displays an error message if images could not be acquired for one minute
during recording.
Use [Internet Mode] when the data format for WV series network cameras
and some BL series network cameras connected over the Internet is
MPEG-4 or H.264.
When "ON" is selected for [Internet Mode], the camera will transmit
MPEG-4 or H.264 data while confirming received data from the software.
This makes it possible to receive MPEG-4 or H.264 data with the broadband
router using the same settings as for receiving JPEG images.
When the registered camera is a BL series camera (excluding some
models of BL series cameras), this setting is displayed in gray and
cannot be selected.
