2.2 Setting Cameras
If you have set [Event Recording] in the timer setting, the following window will be displayed when you
click [OK].
When you click the [OK] button, the timer setting [Event Recording] is changed to [Continuous
Recording].
When the data format of the camera that is connected is MPEG-4, H264, images with good movement
can be viewed over narrow communication bandwidths (Internet, etc.). Although the frame rate
decreases in the case of JPEGs sent over narrow bandwidths (Internet, etc.), a high-quality picture
can still be obtained.
Due to the network environment, you may not record images at the set frame rate.
When the data format is H.264, files sizes may not be reduced even if the frame rate is reduced. Adjust
the camera bit rate through the camera portal site in order to reduce the file size.
By placing a check mark in [Display the error message if images could not be acquired for one minute
during recording], the following message will be displayed when image data from the camera in
recording mode cannot be acquired for 1 minute. Check the camera connection when this message is
displayed.
When transmitting MPEG-4 or H.264 images for WV series network cameras and some BL series
network cameras over the Internet, even if [Internet Mode] is set to [ON], transmitted images may not
be displayed. In this case consult your network administrator. See your network camera user manual
for information about other feature limitations.
Some of the image setting specifications for WV series network cameras and some BL series network
cameras differ to other cameras. See Page 160 for more information.
